  • Message content

We do not intentionally collect special categories of personal data through the contact form. Please do not include sensitive personal information in your message unless it is strictly necessary for your enquiry.

Why we collect it

We process your personal data solely for the purpose of:

  • responding to your enquiry,
  • communicating with you regarding the services you have asked about, and
  • managing any resulting business relationship.

We do not use your personal data for marketing without your separate consent, and we do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Legal basis for processing

We process your personal data under Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), where processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract or to communicate with you regarding requested services.

Where appropriate, we may also rely on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on our legitimate interest in receiving, managing, and responding to enquiries submitted through this website.

Website analytics

We use Plausible Analytics to understand how visitors use our website and to improve its performance and content.

Where your data is processed

Contact form submissions are processed by Netlify, Inc., our website hosting and form processing provider, acting as a data processor on our behalf.

Submitted enquiries are then forwarded to our business email address so that we can review and respond to them.

You can read more about Netlify’s privacy practices in its Privacy Statement.

International data transfers

Some of our service providers may process personal data outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”). Where such transfers occur, appropriate safeguards are used in accordance with the GDPR, such as an adequacy decision, the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, or another legally approved transfer mechanism.

How long we keep your data

We retain contact form submissions for 12 months from the date of submission.

We may retain relevant correspondence for longer where this is necessary in connection with an ongoing business relationship, the establishment or defence of legal claims, or compliance with a legal obligation. When the applicable retention period expires, the data is deleted or anonymised.

Data security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure, or unauthorised access.

However, no method of online transmission or electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

  • request restriction of processing,
  • object to processing based on legitimate interests,
  • request data portability where applicable, and

Exercising these rights does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the request or withdrawal.

To exercise your rights, contact us at info@omworks.hu.

Right to complain

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority.

In Hungary, the supervisory authority is the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH).
